Design Notes

After the cloning, our team also did 2%YP-galactose medium induction to show this pGal promoter can be induced and transcribed downstream of the SNF1 gene

pGal promoter plasmid is supported by Tien-Hsien Chang professor at the genomic research center, Academia Sinica. Our team used this plasmid as a backbone to clone the gene of SNF1 into the plasmid
